More About Audience Response Systems

With the Texas state audience report system you can:

  • Poll: Create polls visible to students on the projector. The students can respond the poll by pushing a button on their own personal device.
  • Report: Collect valuable, exportable data to TRACS. Export individual, group or questions during sessions.

Turning Point for Instructors

TurningPoint consists of three essential components:

  • The TurningPoint Cloud software installed on a computer
  • A USB receiver plugged into the computer
  • One or more handheld response cards purchased by individual students

Learn more about using Turning Point on the Instructor Turning Point user guide page.

Turning Point for Students

Many instructors require the use of TurningPoint Response cards in their classes. If you are a new student and have never used TurningPoint or if you are a student who previously used TurningPoint, you will need to create a Turning Point Account.

A Turning Account is used to manage licenses and register your Response card device(s). A Turning Account license includes ResponseWare for multiple response options.
