Academic Course Webspace

Academic Course Web Space (ACWS) is generic web space that is accessible via SFTP and can be used to host HTML and CSS files. It is available by request for instructors and their students to use for course-related work. The requesting instructor must also be the instructor of record.

Each student enrolled in the course will be assigned their own web space for course work, with automatic enrollments and removals (based on course registration and payment) occurring nightly.

Academic Course Web Space should not to be used for the creation of permanent websites. Instead, department-specific websites should be hosted in Gato, the University's official web content management system, and personal websites should be created in WP Personal Sites.
