Your classes on TRACS

TRACS is our current learning management system. Instructors will setup your class and include things like a syllabus, place to turn in assignments, and a place to see your grades. Be sure to access TRACS through the TXST Mobile app too.

TXST Canvas coming in 2020

Texas State will be moving to a new learning management system starting in 2020. Learn more about the plan to switch to TXST Canvas on the LMS Replacement Project website.

IT Assistance Center

Computer won't work? Can't find the software you need? Unsure of how to use Texas State tools? Get tech support from ITAC - on the web, in person, via LiveChat, over email, and on the phone. Phone and LiveChat are open 24/7.

TXST Mobile

The Texas State Mobile App is a must have for all Bobcats, providing easy access to courses, BobcatMail, bus routes and times, maps, dining options, athletics, and much more.

Microsoft Office 365

Students have access to about 20 apps with Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Planner, and more. Office 365 is free for all students, faculty, and staff at Texas State.

You can access Office 365 from anywhere and use the apps and services on your mobile device. Download several of the apps on up to 15 devices!

Get OneDrive

Part of the Office 365 apps suite, OneDrive is a key piece of technology for Bobcats. OneDrive allows you to store up to 5 terabytes of information in the cloud for free. You can put all your papers, presentations, photos, and more in OneDrive and easily share them with your classmates, instructors, family and friends.

Coming soon: More tech at Alkek

Albert B. Alkek Library is undergoing a major renovation. As part of the changes, the new first floor will be a tech center that includes virtual reality and other alternate realities, a makerspace, a geographic data center, a design studio, and music and video studios. Construction is expected to wrap up in spring semester 2020!
